Today we’ve come to know more about the upcoming Elephone R9. The handset, which is the first of the “R” product line, comes with many similarities with the Chinese’s popular benchmark for design, i.e. the iPhone 7.
The Elephone R9 sports a full metal body paired with a 2.5D glass coating, comparable to the one present on the iPhone 7. Elephone claim that the R9 uses the same nano-injection technology as the iPhone 7 on its antennae in order to boost the signal strength and stability.
The aluminum body on the Elephone R9 is claimed to be anodised as well. This, if true, should provide a similar feeling in hands and a more premium look.

Also on the inside the Elephone R9 is no joke, it will indeed pack a MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core CPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
On the front of the device we find a 5.5″ display with Full HD resolution and a fingerprint reader below it, while on the back there is a 13MP shooter with LED flash. The R9 will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Maybe your products are quite good, and there are lots of users like it. But frankly i think you should focus on UMI and Ulefone’s activity recently. Seems the promotion they did is good.

Let me predict you don’t know the market very well to state an Elephone X20 value is $400 when so many brands (with far better reputation) deliver SD820 phones with sub $400 pricetag.
They can’t hope selling this above $300, $350 top.

Seems good, but why 13 mp?? I was expecting for 16 mp. Can anyone tell me what is the F of the camera?? And the blue color is ohh My God!! simply loved it.

13MP is enough, believe me. Especially with smaller sensors the more pixels you get the worse photos will be in low-light conditions.

It makes perfect sense from the marketing point of view to create hype like they do.
Thing is, they rarely deliver what they initially promise. I mean, spec-wise it will fit, but the overall will be disappointing as usual…
it looks like it uses similar material for the back, looks really nice!
Another great thing about this is that the company decided to release it in several other colours rather than only gray and black. I find it really nice that they decided to go with rather different colour scheme, so it doesn’t matter if you’re a guy or a girl, you can dinf the colour you want and it will look just great!
specifications are quite impressive, i must say, the design is looking very nice too. now all that’s left is to wait for the release!
it’s beautiful, i think this is just a cheap (but not bad) alternative to iPhone… has similar design, but that the same time introduces some new feature and is ran by android

Ok, is a beautiful phone and will have a great success, but I think that the comparison with the I-Phone can not be done ….R9 IS MUCH BETTER !!!
The highlight will be the processor …. MT6797 has been shown to be born to a mid-level market, but thanks to its performance has also taken the upper market segments.
