Android 7.0 Nougat coming to the Elephone P9000


Elephone officially announced today that their P9000’s Android 7.0 Nougat development is under final testing and optimization. The Elephone P9000 is expected to get the OTA update by the middle of the month.

The Android 7.0 update will be bringing on the Elephone P9000 quite a variety of new features, such as direct reply to message notifications, split-screen, bundled notifications, traffic protection more and much more.

Some info about the Elephone P9000..

The Elephone P9000 features a super narrow bezel design and comes with a MediaTek Helio P10 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. On the back we find a 13Mp Sony IMX258 and a fingerprint sensor.

    What about their other line up, especially the upcoming R9 and S7? Are those going to see Nougat? (They are coming out the box with Marshmallow)

    I think that P9000 is the best phone that elephone has released, before the advent of S7 and R9, and the fact that they chosen it for upgrade to Android 7, is the confirmation.
