Updated Cherry Trail Atoms are finally here with Chuwi Hi10 Plus

Chuwi Hi10 Plus

It took quite some sweet time but the updated Cherry Trail Atoms are finally arriving even for the chinese manufacturers and while the difference is minimal performance-wise, the new silicon heroes should help in some other aspects. And first one getting the new tech treatment is going to be the Chuwi Hi10 Plus.

Cherry Trail Intel Atom X5 Z8350 is really not that much different from the overused Z8300, but the higher burst clock of 1.92 GHz instead of 1.84 GHz is really not the important thingy. Crucial is theoretically the way better heat management so we shouldn’t see as much throttling and heat issues as with the previous genereation of the processors.

The Chuwi Hi10 Plus stays exactly the same as before so a 10,8-inch tablet with 3:2 aspect ration and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, 4 GB RAM/64 GB ROM, 8400 mAh battery with 5V/3A fast charge support, full metal body with 8.8mm thickness and 686 g of weight, full fledged USB 3.0 port and dualboot of Windows 10/Remix OS 2.0. And on top of that the aforementioned Intel Atom X5 Z8350. Price should stay exactly the same too so roughly the 200-220$ range, so it’s only a full evolution mode and not a cash grab. Cheers.
