Vivo’s new phone, the X9, is expected to have fairly decent photography performance, and newly released photos are promising.
The Vivo X9 is set for an official launch tomorrow in China, but thanks to various teasers and leaks we are all fairly confident that we know all the hardware specs for this new camera-centric phone.
Details for the phone show the device will come with not 1 but 2 front facing cameras. Those cameras will be a main 20 megapixel sensor and secondary 8 megapixel giving selfies a soft focus effect and boasting more depth than previous from cameras.

The rear camera is impressive too, also being a 20 megapixel sensor and performing well enough to capture photos like this! That’s an evening shot of Guangzhou and the photo really does look incredible!
Vivo will launch two versions of the X9, a standard X9 with 5.5-inch display single HIFI audio chip, 3050mAh battery and 4GB RAM and a larger Vivo X9 Plus with 5.8-inch display, dual HIFI audio chips, 6GB RAM and 4000mAh battery.
Watch out for the full launch details tomorrow.
