Elephone announce new ELE UI; coming later this year

ELE UI

While some users like their smartphones to run the stock Android UI, many others instead enjoy a customized UI, like for example the ELE UI on Elephone devices.

ELE UI

Elephone have been working on their home baked user interface for quite a while now. Today, we finally know when they’ll officially launch it (more or less), that is: middle 2017.

Gizchina News of the week

While that may look like a long wait, it is definitely better they take all the time they need to optimize their UI. Which they promise will be combining a simple interface with an excellent user experience.

What do you guys think about their upcoming UI? And what do you expect? Let us know in the comments below!

Just what we need, another UI with some band launcher or something … just ship it with with Lineage or MIUI as an option and be done with it.
These smaller companies should focus on bug fixing and firmware updates not silly UIs but meh …

Don’t they have custom UI roms available for most of their phones anyway? I know that P9000 definitely does have a custom elephone ui rom, so does s3, not sure about s7 though. Anyway, I don’t agree that their customers like customised UI experience, because usually their custom roms do not looks as clean and nice as stock android experience, thus i’d personally like them to leave the ability to stay with stock UI or at least ability to disable the custom UI features and looks. Other thing they could do is hire better UI/UX designers, so even if customers do not have the ability to use stock android UI, the custom UI, that comes with the phone, would still be nice and sleek

I find it really intriguing, wonder what is this ui gonna look like, but i am also worried about it being mandatory to use just this ui and not any other, which would suck to be honest
