Some time ago Xiaomi announced, that this modell will get a successor – Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, which again will be designed by Philippe Starck. New device should be presented later this year.

I only wish if it would fit my budget. I was wondering if it would be silly to move the bottom bezel to the top. It is still a big phone and that way one should not have to change grip for using the front camera.

Well, you won’t. Xiaomi desperately fear of putting ww LTE into their phones.

Why so? What if they use a chipset like SD835?

They have been using sd820 and sd821 and sd65x all capable chipsets in incapable phones. There is a constant vobbling about antennas – 2cent parts in a couple hundred usd priced phone. They ignore B20.

It is not about the chpset it is about a 1 cent antenna.
