Smartwatches are rough territory. A section of buyers swears by them, while one feels it’s not needed. The third kind don’t care at all. Despite that, there are companies — international and Chinese, but Chinese mostly — dishing out these wearables every now and then.
The newest smartwatch (in the pipeline) is from China’s ZTE, a company that’s vested in a few different avenues for now. There’s no name to the upcoming smartwatch from ZTE, but leaked photos suggest it’s going to be one for the masses.
From photos it appears as though this piece of kit runs Android Wear 2.0. Design-wise, it isn’t the most memorable; there’s a rather austere plastic dock that passes on juice to the beef of the watch, while a simple dial can be seen surrounding the bezels.
Oh, and it’ll feature built-in 3G support. Take a look at the leaked photos right here:
ZTE perhaps want to target — or create a new segment of buyers — the mid-range or entry-level smartwatch folks with this one. Thoughts? Let us know in the comments section below.
