OnePlus 3 Crooked Camera

OnePlus’s tag line “Never Settle” may soon be put to the test. Several OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3TĀ users have reported that the rear camera bump is slightly crooked and tilted towards the right or left.

The issue was highlighted in this Reddit postĀ 2 days ago and prompted OnePlus 3 users to take a second look at the back of their phones.Ā Soon enough, many surprised OnePlusĀ 3 usersĀ took to the forum to express displeasure at the varyingĀ degrees of crookedness.

There is no definiteĀ pattern to theĀ problem. Some users spotted the tilted rear camera bump only after careful observation while others said that the tilting was quite blatant. The overall consensus is to question the aesthetics and build quality of a $500 flagship smartphone. OnePlus may have to revamp processes in the Quality Check department.

The issue was first reported on the OnePlus 3T Colette edition.Ā If you notice a lopsided rear camera on your OnePlus 3 or OnePlus 3T then be sure to let us know in the comments.

My Gunmetal one is perfectly fine. Using an official case on the 3/3T you’d notice right away if it were crooked. Even if only by a few degrees.

I wonder why XDA didn’t even posted this issue. But when it comes to very small detail/updates or non sense topics about 1+3 they’re the ones who share it first. (Paid by OnePlus) lol

I have OP3 and just checked and it is ever so slightly crooked clockwise. Haven’t noticed it before. Doesn’t bother me whatsoever though šŸ™‚
