LeEco plans to unveil its dual camera flagship on April 11

LeEco may be struggling these past few months in order to get over the financial troubles they’re facing but this doesn’t mean that their R&D department is on holidays.

According to recent information (well it’s a rumor so far), the Chinese company plans to unveil their dual camera AI flagship on April 11! This information comes from a Weibo user who also revealed the “happy face” dual camera smartphone sometime ago, and insists that this is the company’s flagship for 2017.

We have no more information on the specifications of the purported device but what we do know is that it will be equipped with dual cameras in front and on its back. Some rumors also hinted at a Snapdragon 821 SoC for it, but after the Snapdragon 835 launch things may have changed.

The Weibo tipster confirmed that the LeEco flagship will be equipped with an AI personal Assistant (much like Samsung’s Bixby) making it LeEco’s first smartphone with AI technology on board. Nothing more to add here guys, we’ll just have to wait until April 11 to see how this rumor turns out.

The reason why leEco is struggling in sales of their phones is the absent of the head phone jack that is missing. Nobody want to make nuisance with their phones in public.
