It seems that the first 3 months of 2017 have been good for LG Electronics and this has become evidentĀ after having seen theĀ preliminary earnings results for the first quarter of 2017.
According to these results, the Korean company expects to makeĀ 14.7 trillion Korean won with an operating profit ofĀ 921.5 billion korean won. The first results insist that their revenues will beĀ 9.7% higher and operating profit 82.4% higher than the same period last year, resulting in its second-best in quarterly profits ever! Unfortunately this doeasn’t mean that the Mobile division of the Korean company is out of the woods yet; it just means that their predicted losses will be… reduced,Ā after seven straight quarters of loss since the second quarter of 2015.
