ZTE Blade MAX 3 launched, features mid-range specs

A few days back, ZTE made the Axon 7s official and the latest device from the brand to hit the US market, is the ZTE Blade MAX 3.

The ZTE Blade MAX 3 is powered by the Snapdragon 625 octa core SoC, a chipset that most manufacturers are using for their mid range offerings. The phone comes with 2GB of RAM(which in my opinion is a less considering the capability of the SD 625 processor) and 16 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 128 GB via external SD card. In the camera department, the rear houses a dual 13 MP setup with flash and the front houses a 5 MP shooter.

The smartphone is fueled by a 4000 mAh battery which is massive and will easily last more than a day on heavy usage. The phone features a 6 inch 1080p display. The fingerprint sensor lies on the rear below the dual cameras.

It features the same connectivity options as many other smartphones with WiFi 2.4GHz/5GHz 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB Type C connector with a 3.5 mm jack. The phone also features HiFi Audio.

Even though ZTE has cut corners when it comes to the RAM, it has put in features that are seldom found in mid range devices. The HiFi Audio, dual camera setup, USB Type C are all options that are available to mainly flagships and higher than mid range phones. This phone seems like the perfect package is you do not want to spend a bomb on your next phone. The Blade MAX 3 is available via US cellular at $199 after a discount of $100.
