UMIDIGI are certainly not afraid of a bit of controversy coming with copying the designs of the successful models, just like they did with iPhone 7 and their new UMIDIGI G. But the next piece will have much higher aspirations and frankly much better hardware too paired with pretty ridiculously low price. New UMIDIGI Crystal will try to copy the Xiaomi Mi Mix if you didn’t look at the title picture so far.
UMIDIGI Crystal will have the same design choice with tri-bezel-frameless screen and it will not be similar to some of the other recently unveiled Mi Mix clones in terms of the design. For starters the fingeprint sensor is moved to the back and the dual rear cameras are aligned vertically (at least in one of the phone’s versions).

According to the UMIDIGI website the Crystal will be coming with two two versions, first the Dual-lens lumia design and the second with all-metal build and if i’m seeing correctly in the picture just single camera. Both should be allegedly packing Helio P25 processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage and 5,5-inch FullHD AMOLED screen.
Seeing the specifications it’s quite surprising to see the special subscribe-preorder with just $99 price tag. That’s….really low if you think about it. Actual sales of the new UMIDIGI Crystal will start on June 15th so we have to wait a bit for it, but looks pretty promising in my eyes.
And a few months later, a company by the name Apple will come out with a similar device, praise itself of the innovative design and sell the device for $999.

Anyone have an idea of how wide this phone is? The only dimension that really matters.
I disagree that widness is the only dimension that matters, but I do agree that the wideness of the phone is the most important. E.g. I touched the S8 for 20 seconds and immediately hated it because of how tall it was.

Umidigi is a very company in its quality system. I bought a Umi Z in the pre-sale, and now I have to return it to the store because the battery is inflating, and I have other hardware problems. Now I will be more than 03 months waiting for the delivery of outo smarphone, since everything for my country (Brazil) is very time consuming. Umidigi never again.

phone companies don’t have to clone just put out good value well made phone.sell it at a fair price.and don’t try and do flagship phones like iPhone 7 or galaxcy 8 at high prices

We will buy it for more but it must have a selfie camera with flash for selfies at night or in low light and to include all LTE bands including TDD 40 with proper softwares in English not in Chinese thereby making it a world phone alongwith rear dual camera.
