Lenovo’s now hopping on the fitness band bandwagon in India with their latest launch, the Lenovo Smart Band HW01. So, what exactly does the Smart Band HW01 bring to the table that the other fitness bandsĀ don’t? Read on to find out.
The Smart Band features a 0.91-inch OLED display on the front, showing typical fitness band information like the time, steps taken and your heart rate, amongst other things. The device also has aĀ dynamic heart rate monitor under āSports Modeā that can monitor heart rate every 15 minutes.Ā Once it’s reached a certain threshold, the band will vibrate.

Aside from this, the company also advertises an anti-sleep mode, which basically works as an alarm to prevent you from oversleeping. Also like any other good fitness band, it can pair up with your iOS or Android device to allow for notifications, music access and taking photos.
The Lenovo Smart Band HW01 is IP 65 water resistant,Ā and weighs a total of 22g. The battery included is an 85mAh unit that promises 5 days of use, a measly amount compared to the Mi Band 2’s 30 days. It’ll be exclusively available on Flipkart for the price ofĀ Rs. 1,999 ($31) and only comes in Black.
