Don’t EVER use GearBest “Express Shipping” method!
They work with Amarex/GCX shipping company, which OVER charges HIDDEN fees!
Not DURING purchase, but after it’s arrival to destination!
They tried charging me 77$! “customs” over a 100$ (that included the shipping!) item!
After REFUSING to pay that ridicules sum of money, I requested they ship it back
they refused! said it’s my problem and not their problem.
I could not get PayPal or CC company to refund me, since it’s “customs” declaration.
This way they FORCE you to either pay the extra charges or lose all your money!

GearBest is the worst website I tried…
Believe me I tried a lot.. Including Tomtop Lightinthebox Gearcrap Everbuying Banggood Geekbuying.
Best service is on Banggood and Geekbuying JUST! Don’t try other websites.
Just today I got 160 bucks refund because my custom refused an item I bought from Banggood because the item is with small camera.
      Still I got full refunded.

I envy you! i only got a refund of 50$, so 50$ went down the drain!
If they were honest, they could have contacted the shipping company THEY use and had the item returned to them, so they could refund me

But they are nothing but crooks, made the mistake once, never again!
Gonna stick to eBay or AliExpress from now on.

Are you talking about Gearcrap or Banggood?
Because I could not agree more about Gearbest.. It is such a bad website. They are so bad!!! But Banggood is in another league..
I mean when I contacted Banggood the lady told me do you want that we ship the order again without any extra cost “let me remind you the items I bought cost over 150US”? I said what if it is lost again? She replied then we will give you full refund…
THAT is a freaking good service…
In fact, this is not the first time this happened. I ordered an LED cost about 20USD but it was faulty and the fuse exploded when I plugged it.. So I contacted Banggood their reply was, would you like we refund you 100% or you want resend? I said no no sorry I am scared the other item will have the same problem. They said please order anything from the website no more than 40USD “they wanted me to buy double the cost” and we will ship it free without any extra cost. And I was amazed by their help but I picked 16USD cool nightlight.
My point is, go for Banggood and AliExpress or Geekbuying. All those guys are excellent! But don’t try Everbuying and Gearbest. They are awful.

I was referring to Gearbest, i’ve never heard of Banggood before, so I can’t comment on them. They are a bunch of thieves and no one should purchase from them if they have any value for money.

Yeah Gearbest is bad.. Your trust level when buying from China should be:
              -AliExpress <=this is the best!
              -Banggood and geekbuying
              -other crappy websites

I am sorry for your stolen money. I wish you recover well.
