Xiaomi Mi Note 3 rumors hint at 5,7 inch 2K curved OLED display, 8GB RAM

I am sure we all liked the Xiaomi Mi 6 model, but surely there are rumors out there suggesting that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 3 model will be the true Chinese flagship model, no question about it.

According to these, the most awaited smartphone will pack a 5,7 inch 2K curved display manufactured by Samsung and that Xiaomi is already working on their own design of an “Infinity Display”. The same rumors suggest that the upcoming model will be equipped with a Snapdragon 835 SoC, with 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage options, running on Android 7.1.1 OS, with the latest version of MIUI 9.

It is expected to pack a dual camera setup on its back, providing superior photo quality when compared to the – already exceptional- camera of the Mi 6 model. Finally the Mi Note 3 will use a 4070 mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support for improved battery life.

The device could make an official public appearance next month and it should be priced at 599$ for the 6GB RAM version and 699$ for the powerful 8GB RAM model.

Doogee has launched the new device that is same like a Mi Mix smartphone called as Doogee Mix in the month of May 2017 at a price tag of $259.99. It comes with a 5.5-inch bezel-less screen which has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is offering a pixel density of 401ppi, which you can enjoy the pure immersive visual effect. The Samsung Super AMOLED display is the perfect to view images in natural colors even in the brightest conditions.

Doogee MIX is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor, RAM 4GB ROM 64GB, RAM 6GB and ROM 128GB two editions, we believe this kind of processor and storage can beat many smartphones until now. And it can keep the lower power consumption, and high efficiency, whether RAM 4GB or RAM 6GB, we can see they both can meet us high-end needs to play games, run many apps at the same time, watch tv plays, searching the Internet rapidly. It is also very good that it can support a MicroSD card for expansion.

    $600-$700 for a not-even-bezel-less Xiaomi phone ?

I’m not complaining as I’m not a Xiaomi buyer and therefore cannot be disappointed, but I don’t understand their pricing, which seems inconsistent with their usual price policy.

Pricing policy always has to do with market conditions. So, if the market dictate better quality products, it’s unrealistic to expect the same pricing model as before, isn’t it?

For sure. But then Xiaomi would become another Samsung / LG / HTC… and I don’t think that’s what they’re planning for their brand :

            Mi6 isn’t such an upgrade over Mi5
Mi Max 2 isn’t such an upgrade over Mi Max
And this 2 products, released in 2017, are affordable

So I’m just pointing out this price ($600-$700) seems a bit fishy for the Note line as the previous model was sold between $400 and $500 : I bet it’s a fake leak as there were fake leaks about a massive price burst for Mi6.
