Slated for a launch on the 21st of June in China, the OnePlus 5 is already up for reservation on the e-commerce platform, Jingdong(JD.com). The number of reservations was at 94099 at the time this post was being written.

There is no indication of the price of the OnePlus 5, but what we know from the website is that the 8GB version is stocked and that the reservation will continue up to the 22nd of June after which it’ll be available for purchase. The images confirm the presence of a dual camera setup on the rear of the OnePlus 5.

Under the hood will lie the flagship chipset, Snapdragon 835. The OnePlus 5 looks strikingly similar to the iPhone 7 Plus, right down to the antenna lines. Will this affect the sales of the 5, we can’t say yet. The fingerprint sensor lies on the front of the phone. The price of the phone is speculated to be around 3000 Yuan.

The OnePlus 5 will be the successor to the very famous OnePlus 3T. As is expected from OnePlus, the 5 will have top of the line specs with features that make it stand apart from the competition. The OnePlus is also reported to come with a better version of the Dash Charge.
