After some really intense complains from users who complained during the past couple of days that their OnePlus 5 rebooted when one tried to dial 911, the Chinese company reached out and through an official statement mentioned that they solved the issue and a software update will be available soon for all those who have been plagued by this.

Gizchina News of the week

In case you were wondering, this specific update is already beginning to roll out under the name OxygenOS 4.5.6 which is basically carrying one thing: a hotfix that resolves the aforementioned issue. So hopefully after this all OnePlus 5 owners will be able to dial emergency services when in need.

That’s why the update is only 32MB in size and you won’t have to wait that long before it downloads and installs on your precious device. You should install it asap because the ability to call 911 is vital in everyone’s life.
