Nubia Z17 with 8GB RAM/64GB ROM appears on TENAA

It seems that Nubia isn’t happy with the available variants of their Z17 flagship and they plan to add a new model in the coming weeks, as a new Nubia Z17 version has been spotted on TENAA.

The new variant comes with 8GB RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, so it will be priced between the 6GB RAM + 128GB model and the 8GB RAM + 128GB model. The latter is priced at Ā„3999 (~$587), so we can safely deduct that it will come with a price tag between $530 and $550.

Gizchina News of the week

For those of you who missed it, the Nubia Z17 is one of the pricier Snapdragon 835 flagship models out there, but still manages to get great sales so far. It packs an impressiveĀ 5.5-inch display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, a 16MP front facing camera and its signature red-holo circle placed at the front. On its back, it comes with a dual camera setup boasting aĀ 23MP f/2.0 sensor paired with a 12MP f/1.8 one with 2X lossless zoom, and dual LED flash. It also has a rear placed fingerprint scanner for security reasons šŸ˜‰

The Nubia Z17 also packs a 3200 mAh battery with Quick Charge 4+ support, allowing you to charge it from 0 to 50% in just 20 minutes. It’s already available inĀ black gold, obsidian black, solar gold and flame red color variants, but there’s also a fifth one coming soon: aurora blue.

This is insane and not necessary (except maybe marketing gimmick to inflate the prices further so they can sell at JACKED OFF PREMIUM PRICES)

Even full blown win10 creator edition can run very smoothly with only 4GB memory.

Linux normally is much better than windows when using hardware resources so it doesn’t make sense to put more than 4GB to an android devices.

I prefer they optimized the android coding (and maybe put a much faster storage like UFS 9 LOL)

This is what apple did, they did well with their IOS development. Their hardware is far below flagship android, they don’t have so big memory, etc

No point to keep upgrading the hardware if the Android software got no improvement.

I don’t mean android sucks but generally the serious development of android only depend on google alone, the rest of the vendor only do cosmetic changes like desktop, wallpaper, ringtone, etc.

And no, i am not Apple fanboys, in fact i never buy apple products because cannot afford it LOL and kind of dislike them because of their troll license patent practice, same also for samsung, qualcomm and all those big arrogant company patent trolls.
