    I wish we could use consistent terminology for global vs international. The Gearbest Mi 5 has the GLOBAL ROM, meaning multi-languages, OTA update and no Chinese apps unless you choose that as your language. This is different from a retailer created global ROM which generally blocks OTA updates. To me “international” means a greater number of LTE frequencies including those that work in the US. This Gearbest Mi 5 just has the usual Chinese 3 LTE bands – 1, 3 and 7.
