It looks like selfie fans will be very happy with the latest news regarding the imaging features of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A model, as the Chinese company recently teased us, with some images hinting that it could be equipped with a front facing flash.
This is the first Xiaomi model to have such a function as the front facing flash has been finding its way to our smartphones during the past year or so. If the teaser images are true then the Redmi Note 5A will be equipped with a front facing flash located on the opposite side of the ear piece from where the selfie camera is.
Rumors insist that the upcoming Redmi Note 5A will be equipped with a 5.5-inch HD display and will be powered by Snapdragon 425 chipset. The device also features 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. There may be another variant with a Snapdragon 625 chipset as well as 3GB+ 32GB memory and 4GB + 64GB storage.
It should be equipped with a 13MP main camera on its back, front-facing camera of 5-megapixels as well as a 3,000mAh battery and fingerprint scanner. It will be priced at around 999 Yuan (~$149) for the base model while the higher variant may come in at 1,199 Yuan (~$179) and you will be able to choose between several color variants like black, gray, gold, silver, white, pink and red.
