Huawei Mate 10 Pro to sport Entire View Display, Mate 10 to sport a traditional display

The Huawei Mate 10 is set for launch on the 16th of October, with the first teaser coming out yesterday. The teaser focussed on the dual camera setup on the Mate 10 which is co-engineered with Leica.

The Huawei Mate 10 is the successor to the Mate 9, and a latest tip from a Weibo user hints towards the existence of two variants of the Huawei smartphone, the Mate 10 Pro and the Mate 10. Amongst the two, it is reported that the Mate 10 Pro will sport the “EntireView Display” , something similar to the Infinity  display present on the Galaxy S8 smartphones ,whereas the Mate 10 would be equipped with a traditional display. Since the Mate 10 Pro will have a bezel-less display, expect the fingerprint scanner to be housed on the rear whereas the Mate 10 might have the fingerprint scanner on the front.

Other than the display there are a few other rumors surrounding the Mate 10, mainly the presence of an undisclosed Kirin 970 processor which will apparently power the Mate 10. Huawei is all set to launch the Mate 10 smartphones on the 16th of October at an event in Munich, Germany. There is no word on the detailed specs of the phones, but expect them to be packed with top of the line specs. Stay tuned for more!
