Ulefone T1 with 6GB RAM Teardown Video – Now Only $200

We’ve already covered the Ulefone T1 here at GizChina before, so you probably know everything about this 6GB RAM and dual camera smartphone. What you could not know until now is what the handset actually looks like inside its metal case. Well, let’s have a look, shall we?

I have to say this looks like one of the easier smartphones to disassemble and reassemble we’ve ever seen. It’s kept together by screws, so those are pretty easy to remove. After you do that, you can simply open up the device and move on with the full disassembly. So may you ever need to repair this phone, you can confidently do it yourself at home after you receive the replacement piece. This is a factor that shouldn’t be discounted, in our opinion.

Gizchina News of the week

The Ulefone isn’t just easy to disassemble though, the smartphone also packs some interesting hardware. Going from the powerful and efficient Mediatek Helio P25 octa-core processor clocked at 2.6GHz to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB. We then find dual rear cameras (16MP + 5MP combo) and a 13MP front shooter with a softlight.

The display is 5.5-inch FHD and it’s encased in a CNC-processed metal body, inside we also have a gyroscope, a front fingerprint scanner and a 3680mAh battery with PE+2.0 fast charge support. Ulefone’s T1 runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and works on a really wide range of 4G LTE networks with 25 frequency bands on 5 types.

The Ulefone T1 is currently available for just $200 over at AliExpress, instead of its retail price of $229.99. Also on AliExpress you can get the rugged Ulefone Armor 2 for $253.99. The special sale is running up until September 24th.

After the usual drop tests, destruction tests, this is mildly captivating.

In my opinion this is only important if parts for a phone are sourceable. Because if they are, I would prefer such a device than one of those 600+ devices which prove to be a nightmare to repair.

Unfortunately, parts are rarely sourceable. Even a battery is difficult to source, from my experience with Chinese devices.

Ulefone t1 is gorgeous, 64gb internal memory, 6 gb RAM, front facing fingerprint, sunlight legible, colors are good, sound is good. It fell flat from my hand but nothing happened. It has dual rear camera with flash and 13 mp front camera with flash. both the cameras are very good. I wriggle with the phone through out the day but still there is battery. However, there is no file transfer facility. I had to download a software to transfer files into the phone. The phone is the best at $199 which I bought from Banggood.
