The newest addition to the Chuwi extensive lineup has been showcased for the first time during the IFA 2017 and the Chuwi LapBook Air got some well deserved attention there. Chuwi LapBook Air is of course influenced heavily by the thin MacBook line as the name suggests after all. Even though it’s sporting a fairly large 14.1-inch FullHD screen it keeps the weight pretty much in check with 1.3 kgs and the profile with 6mm in the thinnest spot. Backlit keyboard is also something we craved in the previous models and while the hardware is not cutting edge, it looks very decent and usable with Apollo Lake Celeron N3450 with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB SSD disk. The battery promises 33.7 Wh so nothing to scoff at either.
