BLUBOO S1 Official Hardware and Features Tour of the Full-Screen Phone (Video)

Bluboo S1

The Bluboo S1 isn’t the latest tri-bezel-less phone to hit the market but it’s still selling very well since its launch, and that’s because of the various smartphone’s hardware and software features it comes with.

To give us an idea of what using a Bluboo S1 is like, the Chinese phone maker just released an exhaustive video that shows everything we need to know about the handset. Let’s check it out down below!

So, what do we learn in the video? Let’s begin with the smartphones dimensions, which are 144 x 75.9 x 8.7mm and the weight at 170 grams, definitely one of the smaller / lighter options compared similar devices.

Other than that, we have a look at the beautiful all-screen design, which is of course the handset’s best selling feature. Going more in depth we see that the Bluboo S1 comes with a 5.5-inch Sharp display coated in Corning Gorilla Glass with a resolution of 1920 x 1080px, so you aren’t giving up on image quality, sadly we can’t say the same about other tri-bezel-less devices with sub-FHD displays.

In the camera department the S1 is well equipped as well, with a 16MP + 3MP camera combo from Sony, a front-facing shooter and software features such as facebeauty mode, panorama mode and more.

Gizchina News of the week

The battery on the Bluboo S1 has a capacity of 3500mAh, which is good for a 5.5-inch phone. Bluboo say you can get 20 minutes of heavy usage with just 8% battery consumption, that doesn’t sound too bad.

The Bluboo S1 is a good performer as we can see in the video, with an AnTuTu score of 63360 points. In addition to that, the smartphone supports OTG connectivity and a fast and stable WiFi module. Overall the Bluboo S1 can handle pretty much any game you throw at it, even the more demanding ones, without any glitches or lag; plus since it supports microSD cards up to 256GB you’ve ample room for heavier games.

Lastly, Bluboo shows us some of the smart features and sensors they’ve implemented on the S1, so – for example – you can execute multiple actions with a single tap and so on.
