Xiaomi releases its own Type-C data cable for 2,5$

You’re not a decent Xiaomi fan if you don’t own at least this small piece of Chinese technology – well OK, I’m just joking. It seems that Xiaomi launched another piece of beauty… a rather simple Type-C data cable (flat line) that costs a mere 2.5$.

As you can all figure out, this Xiaomi Type-C Data Cable enables data sharing and charging between a laptop and a smartphone, but it also supports Quick Charging (if you have the necessary equipment of course). The new data cable by Xiaomi relies on theĀ flat line designĀ instead of traditional circular one, it’sĀ 1.2 metersĀ long and quite impossible to tangle up.

Gizchina News of the week

Underneath the plastic casing, we can findĀ four pure copper wires. Each copper wire is surrounded with nylon to prevent bending of the wire. Thus, itā€™s anĀ anti-bending Type-C cable. The two sides copper wires are thicker when compared to the middle two as they are used for the charging procedure, whereas the other two in the center are used for data transferring for speeds up toĀ 480MB/s.Ā

According to Xiaomi theĀ Data Cable is QC 2.0 compatible, supporting 5V / 2.1A fast charge,Ā and you will soon find it available in different colors: Orange, Blue, Gray.
