UMIDIGI S2 Pro teardown video after a water bath

UMIDIGI S2 Pro

Few days ago we had a chance to see a video of the new UMIDIGI S2 Pro model being soaked for 30 minutes in a water bath to showcase the new nano-coating water protection the phone has. And today they released a follow-up video showing the disassembly of the phone after the bath. Have fun watching.

Gizchina News of the week

You can see in the video quite clearly, that most of the component are actually with droplets of water on them, but the multi-functional nano-coating protection apparently works well to avoid short circuiting the components. So it’s quite a different take on the whole water resistance feature, because usual rugged phones are going to make the phone watertight so no water can actually get to the components.
