It appears that red coloured smartphones are currently most desired as manufacturers seem to concentrate on the colour at or shortly after launch. Some months ago, Xiaomi Mi 5X arrived with the red colour variant and now, Xiaomi Mi A1 is following the same path as it has already arrived in Indonesia last week. The Red Xiaomi Mi A1 will arrive India on December 20 with an INR12,999 ($202) price tag. Recall that the official price of this smartphone is INR13,999 which means that there is a INR1,000 price cut on this smartphone.

As a reminder, Xiaomi Mi A1 which was released in September 2017 is powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor clocking 2.0 GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB. It is equipped with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protected 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 1920 pixels display resolution. In the camera department, Xiaomi Mi A1 comes with a 12MP+12MP dual rear camera supported by a 5MP selfie shooter. The device was launched with Android Nougat back in September, but Oreo Beta is already hitting early buyers. The lights of this smartphone is powered by a non-removable 3080mAh Li-ion battery.
