With the big CES convention in Las Vegas approaching the makers are starting to slowly reveal what should we possibly expect there to be announced. And the tablet/laptop moguls Chuwi just told us what we can expect to see from their brand during the next year and some of those pieces look pretty interesting.

So according to the official word they will announce at least three new pieces during the CES. First will be the SurBook Pro powered by the Intel Gemini Lake processor, then the Hi9 Air tablet with Mediatek CPU and Android 8.0 Oreo system out of the box and finally new GBox Pro mini PC with Intel i5 processor. Sounds pretty solid to me as an announcement.

While waiting for the future ones the main crowdfunding campaign for the upcoming CoreBook model is going to the final stage on Indiegogo with just 11 days remaining. Amd something slighly over $40k still remaining to reach to the $200k stretch goal to receive the 128 GB SSD disk upgrade for free, so make sure to check it out to help us all reaching that.

Chuwi CoreBook specs :

  • 13.3 inch FHD touchscreen with 2.5 D glass design
  • Core M3 7Y30 processor,Intel HD Graphics 615
  • 8GB of RAM, 128 GB of SSD storage
  • Fingerprint recognition sensor
  • 12V/3A (36W) quick charger

And another model is also getting already launched next week on Banggood and Aliexpress with the Hi9 tablet, which is a return for Chuwi to the land of pure Android tablets. And could be actually quite a damn fine one depending on the pricing.

Chuwi Hi9 specs :

  • 8.4 inch 2560*1600 16:9 IPS display
  • Mediatek 8173 64-bit quad core
  • GX6250 GPU
  • 4GB RAM+ 64GB ROM
  • Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box

If you manage to visit the CES in Las Vegas in person on 9th-12th January 2018 then make sure to stop by the Chuwi booth No.62600, South Plaza Hall to check the new stuff directly. And for all of us others we just have to wait and see all the surprises revealed.
