Sharp Aquos S3 images from NCC leak, show “top-notch” design

Sharp’s Aquos S3 has raised quite a few eyebrows since it popped up on the rumoursphere. Especially because of that “top-notch” display. Get what we mean? Well, it’s supposed to follow the iPhone X design and come with a notch at the top of the display. Also, rumours say it will have the highest screen-to-body ratio on any smartphone. That ought to get quite a few people pumped. Well, here’s a clear look at the design if you’ve been wondering how it will look. We’ve had sneak peeks at TENAA images but this is clearer.

The Sharp Aquos S3 with model number FS-8032 bagged NCC certification in Taiwan some days back and we’ve got some images of the certified device here. As you’ll see in the images, the front is completely black but we can still see the notch at the top clearly. However, the bottom bezel is not that clear. It is thick enough to harbour a Sharp branding. Sharp should have gone ahead and removed the bottom bezels as well altogether while they were at it.

The back of the phone is pictured with dual cameras very much like the iPhone X in appearance. Also, there’s a fingerprint sensor in the central position as usual.

According to rumours floating around, the handset will boast a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display. An unknown Qualcomm processor should power the handset with at least 4 gigs of RAM in tow. The handset has already passed TENAA and Sharp has already sent invites for the launch event that is to take place on January 16th.
