Well that didn’t take too long, the full specs of the fancy looking UMIDIGI S2 Lite got released already today and the phone is looking quite good for all the budget conscious people among us. And the presales will be hitting us pretty soon with a favorable price so the new UMIDIGI piece surely has a lot of promise in it.

The screen of the phone will a big 6-inch one with the 18:9 aspect ratio, 90% screen-to-body ratio, HD+ resolution and the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 to protect it from harm. Inside will hum the MT6750T processor alongside 4 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, things governed by the Android 7.0 Nougat as the OS, but in May it will be getting the Android 8.1 Oreo.

UMIDIGI S2 Lite is featuring also well above average 5100 mAh battery with 5V/2A fast charging, which should provide at least 2 full days of user experience and should recharge in just 3 hours. Another perk should 16MP+5MP Omnivision flagship dual lens cameras with OV16880 main sensor which utilizes and advanced 1-micron pixel. And besides the rear Touch ID fingerprint scanner the phone will be also running new 3D Face ID tech with Bioassay system for scanning multiple areas of your face independently.

The full metal unibody smartphone will be available in black or red and you can already subscribe for the presale on UMIDIGI official website and take part of the 2nd round of giveaways. Actual presales will start on 12:00 PM January 22nd and the price is set at pretty nice level of $149.99.     Well, at least they listened to the masses. Their custom UI was not well received; it slowed down a device with relatively good hardware. They are reverting to almost stock, and also went down in price. This costs close to half the previous model. I am still running the Umi Plus; it lived up to expectations. Might consider this one!
