Ulefone hasn’t really backed down a bit to make a way for other brands when it comes to owning the title of “best rugged smartphone brand”. In fact, they have recently released a new model that is now on presale – the Ulefone Armor 2S – at the special price of only $159.99.

Inside the box you’ll free accessories such as a screen protector and a screwdriver probably needed to open the SIM card tray. The Armor 2S is lacking the 3.5mm audio jack so there is also an USB Type-C to 3.5mm headphone adapter included in the box. Plus there’s an USB Type-C to Micro USB adapter that will allow you to connect the Armor 2S to an older Micro-USB cable for charging, sync or file transfer.
Note that the previous rugged phones that Ulefone have released strapped on such as the IP68 rating, which means the phone is dust and water-resistant, and we find the same on the more affordable Ulefone Armor 2S. The handset comes with a good MTK6737T quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB, an 8MP selfie shooter, a 13MP rear snapper, a long-lasting 4700mAh battery with 9V/2A fast charge support, extensive 23 frequency bands on 4 types, a 5.0-inch FHD display, handy physical buttons on the sides and Android 7.0 as the OS.
