OUKITEL is on fire at the start of the year and in just the first weeks of 2018 we have seen the release of the global first 11.000 mAh smartphone with OUKITEL K10, but they have another ace in their sleeve for us. The iPhone X clone OUKITEL U18 looks pretty good and today we have for you some real pictures and video for the device so you can check out if it’s really worth all the hype.

OUKITEL U18 is specifically released for those who want the iPhone X experience on a budget and it mimics the full display with the “notch” and the two “ears” up top the display for showing the time, Wi-Fi status, signal info and battery level. U18 will feature a 5,85-inch 21:9 display and the makers chose the MT6750T octa-core processor to carry the performance torch alongside 4 GB RAM and Android 7 OS.

Design-wise the OUKITEL U18 will flash 2.5D curved display, CNC crafted zinc alloy frame and 3D arc design. The back cover is fairly similar to the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, but with dual-lens rear camera and rubber paint cover. For security measures you will be able to choose between fingerprint and Face ID unlock, but they can’t be used simultaneously. The phone will also pack a 4000 mAh battery, which should be comfortably able to last at least for a day of very heavy usage.

OUKITEL U18 Main specs:

  • 5.85 inch HD+ display, 21:9 aspect ratio
  • MediaTek MT6750T octa-core chipset
  • 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM
  • 4000mAh battery, 5V/2A charger
  • Sony IMX135 16MP+5MP rear camera, OV8858 13MP front camera
  • Android 7 OS
  • Dimensions: 150*73*10.3mm

OUKITEL U18 will be available in black and gold color versions, but for the Chinese Spring Festival global first presale only the black one will be out there. The retail price will be set at $179.99 but for a special pre-order event from February 1st to February 7th 999 pieces will be discounted to $159.99. To learn more about the phone you can always visit the official website too and get all the presale info needed.
