13.3-Inch Xiaomi Notebook Air Quad-Core i7 Version Hit The Shelves

Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, today announced the official launch of its Xiaomi Notebook Air Quad-Core 17 version which comes with a 5999 Yuan ($945) price tag. Just like its predecessor, this laptop comes without any logo on its outer surface which will leave many guessing. However, there is a conspicuous “Mi” branding on the bottom bezel of the display.

This device comes in gray color coupled with black keyboard and bezels. It is only 14.8mm thick and weighs a paltry 1.3kg which makes it conducive to carry around. It is equipped with a 13.3-inch screen and the bezels are only 5.59mm thick, though the bottom bezel is a bit thicker. This version of Xiaomi Notebook Air uses a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and it has a display resolution of 1920 × 1080. Its 170-degree wide viewing angle coupled with an 80.1% screen-to-body ratio ensures that users have a pleasant display.

Xiaomi notebooks have only Windows 10 as the option, nothing else.

Wake up, they always have had Win10. This model should come with 16GB ram. Again another cheap trick to drain customers towards the higher model, the 15-inch… sad, 13 are more convenient.

Put Chrome Os, and I’ll buy it. My PC has been installing updates for about 20 minutes, and it’s still on 13%, and to think that I was watching a movie when it suddenly restarted. On the MacBook, I could have chosen “Remind me tomorrow.”
