Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ go on Sale Globally

The most celebrated smartphones of the moment – the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ which were announced back at the MWC, are both now on sale Globally, at Samsung stores, retailers and selected telecommunications service providers.

While both devices bear a striking resemblance to the predecessor, there exist a couple of subtle design tweaks that set them apart from older devices. Both devices also come with some advanced internals including faster processors, better cameras, AKG-tuned dual speakers for enhanced audio, AR Emojis and for that, those wishing to buy any of the devices will have to shell out more cash than what the Galaxy S8 required at launch.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ prices and Release date
The Galaxy S9 and S9+ went on sale globally from 16 March following weeks of pre-order, but the first batch of pre-orders may have reached the doorsteps of the buyers earlier than the promised date in some parts of the World.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is now available to buy outrightly in the UK at £739, while the slightly larger Galaxy S9+ plus sized variant will set you back £869.

Those in India will have to part with Rs. 57,900 and Rs 64,900 for the base models of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ models respectively. The prices of the higher 256GB variants go up to Rs. 65,900 and Rs. 72,900 for the S9 and S9+ in that order.

A couple of launch offers are also available from Airtel, Flipkart, Jio and many more. These offers include an Rs. 6,000 cashback for HDFC debit and credit card users, as well as an Rs. 6,000 cashback in the Paytm Mall on purchases made online and offline. Samsung is also offering an additional Rs. 6,000 discount on exchange of an older Samsung smartphone.

Galaxy S9 offers Airtel

Airtel is selling the S9 and s9plus base variants at Rs 57,900 and Rs 64,900 respectively with down payment option, EMI, and monthly postpaid plans. For the base variants of the s9 duo, you will have to make a commitment of  Rs 9,990, while Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have a down payment of Rs 17,900 based on certain terms and conditions. Airtel is charging a monthly EMI of Rs 2,499 and Rs 2,799 for both S9 and S9+ variants for 24 months bundled with TB of data.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ price in China

JD.com is currently accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy S9+ and is scheduled to start shipping from March 22, while S9 is available to buy from the retailer’s website at ¥ 6099.00 and ¥ 5799.00 for the 128GB model and the base model. Note, that the 256GB model is currently not available in China.
