Meizu Flyme 7 To Focus On One-Step Operational Access

Meizu officially opened registration for testers of its new Flyme 7 OS on April 16. We also know that the Meizu 15 due to launch on April 22 will be the first smartphone pre-installed with this OS. Recently, the Senior Vice President of Meizu Technology, Yang Yan said that at the launch of Meizu 15, the Flyme 7 OS will also be discussed and that is the platform for the official unveiling of this OS.

Today, the Meizu Flyme official Weibo account posted a promotional poster which suggests that this system will focus one-step operational access. It is quite obvious that Flyme 7 will come with improved operations for a better user experience but we will probably have to wait for about two days for the complete details of this system. However, we already have a glimpse of what the Flyme 7 display looks like. Screenshots show the lock screen, weather, and Meizu Mall. The new system has followed Flyme’s usual exquisite beauty, simple and fresh design. However, the system status bar, icon text, and APP interface layout also show that Flyme 7 does not change significantly in visual terms, and the visual aspect is more of a refinement and optimization in details.

Gizchina News of the week

We expect that Flyme 7 will address some operations that require numerous steps to achieve. Currently, tapping and swiping are interactive cores of smartphone operating systems, but cross-application switching and linkage are inefficient and are not as effective as the Windows system. For example, from the address received by WeChat to the map search, a smartphone requires at least five or more steps, and the process is cumbersome and inefficient. At the same time, searching for news web pages, accessing data, etc. are a high-frequency operation of users in daily. For Flyme 7 to improve its operational efficiency, we will wait and see if it will implement “one-step direct access” to the above usage scenarios.

At present, Flyme 7 officially opened the beta application on April 16. Meizu mobile phone users can go to the “Flyme Community” APP to register for the online beta and enjoy the Flyme 7 experience.
