Huawei P20 Pro and P20 lite coming to India on April 24

After launching in China recently, Huawei’s India arm is now set to bring the P20 and P20 Pro to the India market which is considered to be a key one for the company. Huawei India has reportedly sent out press invites for a launch event on April 24. While the invite didn’t expressly says what devices will be unveiled, the “SEE MOOORE” tag is a clear indication that the Huawei P20 Pro will be the star of the show. The P20 Lite is also expected to debut alongside the P20 pro, but not the base Huawei P20.

With an expected price tag of Rs 60,000 to Rs 65,000, the Huawei P20 Pro is the most sophisticated of the P20 smartphones, that is expected to compete fiercely with the Flagship Galaxy S9 duo and the overpriced Apple iPhone X with the notch display.

The Huawei P20 Pro has all it takes to be a true flagship phone and does so even better with an amazing design choice that makes it the envy of others. I am talking about the Leica triple lens system stacked vertically at the rear of the Huawei P20 Pro. The Leica licensed cameras include a 40MP RGB sensor, a 20MP monochrome sensor and an 8MP sensor with a telephoto lens. It comes fitted with a 24MP selfie camera with AI beautification and 3D portrait lighting.

The device packs a 6.1-inch 2240 x 1080 with the iPhone X like notch with the Kirin 970 chipset coupled 6GB of RAM under the hood.

The P20 lite on the other hand offers a slightly compact display with 5.84-inch 2280 x 1080 with the notch design, while the flagship Kirin 970 chipset has been replaced Kirin 659 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM, and up to 64GB of storage. The P20 lite gets a dual 16MP + 2MP camera combo at the back.
