Honor 10 slated for launch in India by May end as Flipkart exclusive

Huawei Honor 10

The Honor 10 is the flagship of the Honor brand and it has launched in China. The next stop is India with a launch at the very fringes of May. The company hasn’t given any particular dates but it has said that the handset will be Flipkart exclusive. Moreover, the price which according to the company itself will be around Rs 35,000 is a flagship killer deal for sure. The OnePlus 6 is expected to be priced around the same point when it launches on May 17.

The Honor 10 is blessed with the flagship Kirin 970 processor from its Huawei counterparts as well as the flashy and shiny colours. It also comes with a notch and AI 2.0 along with dual cameras at the back. The rear setup is a powerful combo of 16MP + 24MP sensors with LED flash and PDAF. The front 24MP shooter with f/2.0 is great at face detection as well as killer selfies.

For perspective, the Honor 10 6GB + 64GB costs 2599 Yuan (approx. Rs 27,230) while the 6GB + 128GB costs 2999 Yuan (approx. Rs 31,420). The Indian pricing does seem to be steep compared to the Chinese ones but still, it matches the likes of the OnePlus 5T.

The Honor 10 global launch is on May 15th and it is possible we could hear more of the Indian launch on that date. Stay tuned, we’ll let you know when that happens.
