Face Unlock Feature Arrives Honor 8 Pro


In recent months, Honor, has proven to be a trusted brand and its smartphone business is doing quite well. Some months ago, it released the Oreo update to a few devices and it is currently preparing the Oreo update for Honor 8. Now, we have confirmation that the company has released an update for Honor 8 Pro which will add the Face Unlock feature to this device. As per the initial plan, this update was to be included in the Oreo update which the smartphone received in February this year but that didn’t happen.

This update weighs about 500MB and it also includes other features such as a privacy feature that hides notifications on lock screen so that strangers cannot read them. It also includes the March security update. As a reminder, this smartphone is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. It is a 5.7-inch smartphone with a 4,000mAh battery.
