Gizchina News of the week

Samsung supposedly brought the Galaxy X to CES during this year, the smartphone was exposed in a private meeting with some company’s directors and shareholders. According to some reports, the device that was shown in Vegas carries a design with three foldable 3.5-inch OLED displays; one screen is the external part of the handset, while the remaining two are fitted inside. When the two internal screens are unfolded a larger 6-inch to 7-inch display enter in action.

The use of 3.5-inch display makes a funny allusion to the size chosen by Apple when the first models of the iPhone were revealed with such screen size. Even if those rumors are to be believed, there is a chance that we see a different device on the next year, considering that the model showcased in CES could be easily discarded if Samsung manages to develop a better folding mechanism. Are you excited for this foldable smartphone? Will this represent a new window for the mobile scenario or just another gimmick?
