The Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus are still children in the fierce fight for the crown of the mobile market, however, this can’t stop the first rumors about the Galaxy S10 to circulate through the web. According to some reports, the new almighty South-Korean flagship could hit the shores during MWC 2019, this isn’t something new, but apparently, the company is preparing one more launch for the Barcelona annual fair, and this one will crush your mind.

According to some fresh rumors, the company will be releasing its highly-anticipated foldable smartphone during MWC 2019. The smartphone has been dubbed as Galaxy X and carries a confident “winner” codename. Previously, the smartphone was described as “Valley” but the change of codename may indicate that the handset is really in company’s schedule for a release in 2019.

Samsung supposedly brought the Galaxy X to CES during this year, the smartphone was exposed in a private meeting with some company’s directors and shareholders. According to some reports, the device that was shown in Vegas carries a design with three foldable 3.5-inch OLED displays; one screen is the external part of the handset, while the remaining two are fitted inside. When the two internal screens are unfolded a larger 6-inch to 7-inch display enter in action.

The use of 3.5-inch display makes a funny allusion to the size chosen by Apple when the first models of the iPhone were revealed with such screen size. Even if those rumors are to be believed, there is a chance that we see a different device on the next year, considering that the model showcased in CES could be easily discarded if Samsung manages to develop a better folding mechanism. Are you excited for this foldable smartphone? Will this represent a new window for the mobile scenario or just another gimmick?
