OPPO Realme 1 Will Make Its Way in India on May 15

OPPO Realme 1

OPPO is developing strictly and no one can deny this. This also means the Chinese manufacturer has to come in with more products and conquer more markets. But how it can do that when another Chinese smartphone maker in face of Xiaomi has taken roots everywhere. Say, Xiaomi is the toppest brand in India. It has the largest market share due to its Redmi line smartphones. Probably, this is the main reason why OPPO has decided to create a new sub-brand and re-enter the Indian market with it. The OPPO Realme 1 is going to be the pioneer of this series and it will be uncovered on May 15.

Currently, India is the most attractive market in the world. According to Canalys statistics, India’s smartphone shipments reached 124 million units in 2017, and in the Q3, India surpassed the United States, becoming the second-largest smartphone market in the world after China. Not surprisingly, Xiaomi took the first position in India in the Q1 2018 with a market share of 31.1%. Of course, it could reach such a sales performance due to its cost-effective Redmi smartphones. The other Chinese manufacturers such as VIVO, OPPO, and Huawei’s Honor had a market share less than 10%.
