HMD Global’s COP Juho Sarvikas hints Nokia X6 worldwide launch following Twitter’s poll results

A few days ago, HMD Global device introduced its first smartphone to feature the controversial Notch display design – The Nokia X6. Despite the fact that there are few persons who actually think that having a notch on the screen is a good thing, the phone was received with some praise. The Nokia X6 is currently a China exclusive, but according to a tweet poll made by HMD Official, this could be about to change.

HMD Global’s COP Juho Sarvikas has made a poll on Twitter asking Nokia fans if they would be interested in a worldwide release for the Nokia X6. The poll ended not too long after going live, due to the huge traffic, that once again shows how Nokia brand is strong across the world. According to the results, 8,5K people voted during the poll and no less than 92% of the votes want HMD to release the Nokia X6 in the other markets worldwide.

According to Mr.Sarvikas, the results were pretty conclusive, pointing out that HMD is, in fact, considering a global release of the notched smartphone. Besides the poll results, there is no much to be done than wait to see if the Finnish company will indeed bring the X6 to other markets anytime soon.

Previously, we’ve seen reports indicating that HMD will launch two more devices under the newly X series – The Nokia X5 and Nokia X7, while the Nokia X6 would remain a China-exclusive the other two could reach other markets such as Europe, India and in the US. Well apparently, the company has changed its mind and can bring the X6 in a near future.
