Gizchina News of the week
The HTC Desire 12 ramps things up a bit in virtually all areas. First, it gets a larger 6 inch IPS LCD display with a 1440 x 720 px resolution which translates to an 18:9 aspect ratio. The Desire 12+ ditches the MediaTek SoC found on the base Desire 12 for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core chipset with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage which can be expanded up to 2TB using a micro SD card. The Redmi Note 5 Pro from Xiaomi with the Snapdragon 636 chipset and the Huawei P20 Lite with the Kirin 659 SoC for comparison sake offers better chipsets at much affordable price points.
The desire 12+ gets a beefier 2965 mAh battery, now includes a dual 13MP RGB sensor + a 2MP depth sensor at the flip side, while an 8MP selfie cam sits at the front.
Priced at Rs 15800/ $236 and Rs 19790/ $296, the HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ open for pre-order via HTC eStore from June 7, while same will go on sale offline from June 11 onwards via online and offline channels.
