Nubia Z18 Spotted in Live Photos

Nubia Z18

Nubia is the only smartphone brand that is promoting its upcoming flagship as ‘full screen 3.0.’ This term simply means the manufacturer will take the full-screen design approach to the next level. As you remember, the Xiaomi Mi MIX was known as the first full-screen handset gone into production. It was followed by the second-gen Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, which was promoted as ‘full screen 2.0.’ However, there were brands such as Nubia and Huawei promoting their flagships as ‘full screen 2.1.’ Currently, the market is full of full-screen smartphones, but none of them is promoted in this way. Even the upcoming VIVO NEX doesn’t carry this title. So the Nubia Z18 should be an ambitious smartphone. Previously, we have already managed to take a look at a spotted photo. But today, slashleaks published a few images with the alleged Z18. And we have to state they have nothing common what we have seen earlier.

Actually, the Nubia Z18 looks like the Essential Phone. The borders are narrowed a lot. They are almost invisible. But there is a forehead. Honestly, it’s narrowed as well. In the upper area of the screen, we can notice the camera sensor. In this sense, the phone adopts a design seen on the Sharp AQUOS S3 mini. At last, there is a chin.

Nubia Z18

The appearance of the Nubia Z18 is outstanding. It’s an alternative to the bangs screens found on many flagships and the tri-bezel-less screen technology seen on a few models. But what’s more important, the Z18 is a true flagship when it comes to hardware as well. According to the previous leaks, the phone will be packed with a Snapdragon 845 chip, 8GB of RAM, 24MP + 8MP rear dual-camera, and Android 8.0 out of the box.

Basically the Essential 2. Wish the chin was a little smaller.
