UMIDIGI One Pro Disassembly: Meticulous and Precise, True Compact Flagship

UMIDIGI One

UMIDIGI just announced the UMIDIGI One series a couple days back, and today it’s ready to show us the inner structure of the phone by disassembling it in front of a camera. In the UMIDIGI teardown video, we can finally see the internals of the phone, which is quite interesting, as we can’t really judge a phone only by its nice aesthetics.

Let’s watch the video:

Twilight and Carbon Fiber are, maybe, the most gorgeous and popular color options mobile manufacturer have ever decided to bring on a phone. The first look of the UMIDIGI One series really impresses us, with its components quality and very premium look.

Once opened, we see how the sealant has been applied to the internals of the twilight black, still with the help of professional tools provided by iFixit, the phone can be easily put apart. So, after removing the back cover completely, you can see a foil in a copper colour, which is applied to spread heat. In the below photos, you can also see the important components of the handset in detail.

After taking away the cooling foil, we can see there is an NFC & wireless charging combo on the top of the battery. The UMIDIGI One Pro does, in fact, support 15W world’s fastest wireless charging and NFC. The UMIDIGI One Pro also comes with a 3550mAh battery capacity, featuring 18W fast charging to fully charge it in 90 minutes.

Moving forward, we see the whole motherboard with the Helio P23 SoC, 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, as well as the dual rear camera module. We have to point out that the UMIDIGI One series has a dual speaker, one of the speaker is built in the bottom of the phone, another speaker is hidden nearby the microphone.

The dual rear camera setup 12MP+5MP is not fake (unlike in many other phones). They sport big 1.12 μm pixels, an optical format ½.8” and large f/2.0, all working together to ensure users can take great photos. The phone also packs a 16-megapixel front facing camera which let you snap sharp and high-resolution selfies.

Finally, there is a side fingerprint scanner on the top of the power button, so that you can start your phone with one press, and unlock with one touch. Overall, there are so many features that make this device one of the best options in its price range.

You cannot buy the smartphone yet, but UMIDIGI is globally recruiting 10 trial users for the UMIDIGI One, which will get one for free. To become trial users you just need to complete specified steps by UMIDIGI on its official website.
