Alleged Honor 8X Passes by TENAA

An undisclosed device speculated to be the Honor 8X has just passed by TENAA. The TENAA listing has not been populated with all the specifics, but we do get a good look at the design of the phone. The TENAA listing should be populated with more details in the coming days.

Gizchina News of the week

Listed under the model number ARE-AL00, the alleged Honor 8X will likely sport a design different from what Huawei and Honor have been playing with this year. The device has a notch up top, but just for the camera, like the Essential PH-1. You could say it’s exactly like the PH-1. The notch houses the front camera while the earpiece sits right at the top as a slit. The back houses a dual camera setup and the fingerprint scanner. The phone is likely metal sandwiched between glass. The SIM tray sits on the left while the volume rockers and the power button sit on the right.

Huawei had been reportedly toying with a design like this according to an earlier report. Just today, Oppo unveiled the F9 which sports a similarly designed display. So far we have no reports confirming that this is the Honor 8X so I would suggest you take this report with a pinch of salt.
