A couple days back we checked out the the Holy Stone HS700 flagship drone and we’ve to say it looked pretty good as far as appearance goes, plus it packed some really interesting hardware. Now, the question is: how well does it perform? Let’s find that out in Holy Stone’s new video.
Holy Stone HS700 unboxing and quick start video:
What’s in the box?
We can see from the video a lot of accessories have been carefully packed in the box. We indeed find the landing gear, the camera with a holder and mat for stability, the battery with transfer box and balanced charger, 4 pairs of propellers and a phone holder, plus a screw driver and propeller spanner to help you install everything properly. They also seem to be made of a quality material that is shock-resistant and lightweight.
Easy Flight and Smart Functions
In the video, the technician quickly installs HS700 without extra tools except the propeller spanner. She shows how to pair the drone with transmitter and quickly set it up. You should make sure that at least 7 satellites are present before take off for the return to home feature to work properly.
The app the drone comes with is quite light and easy to use although it packs some advanced features such as Follow Me Mode – can lock target automatically to capture the best moments, and Point Fly and the Track Radius – can automatically move the drone using the GPS system. You can also make the drone follow a preset route automatically or use 3D VR glasses to see the world through the eyes of a bird.
You’ll find the image captured by the drone to be very stable and fluid due to the 2204 1500KV brushless motors which provide more power and a smoother flying experience while making less noise. The HS700 Ophelia also uses the new enhanced 5G WiFi HD video transmission system for a distance of up to 400 meters that brings a near to real-time image, so that you can fly farther in a safe way.
