The Nokia 7.1 Plus will be released tomorrow in China as Nokia X7. The handset will be available for purchase on October 23. Today some last details have been revealed by China Telecom, including the smartphone pricing.
The device will cost 2,700 Yuan ($390). While the original Nokia 7.1 is not available in China, the Nokia 7 Plus it replaces can be found there for 2,300 Yuan ($330). The very same handset is costlier on Europe, due to some taxes.
Nokia X7 will arrive with a 2.2GHz Octa-core which we believe to be the Snapdragon 710, paired with 4GB/64GB or 6GB/128GB of memory with support for microSD card expansion. On the back, there is a dual camera setup with 12MP+13MP sensors, on the front the big notch houses a 20MP selfie snapper. The Phone is powered by Android 8.1 Oreo out-the-box, but since this will be another Android One smartphone we expect to see a Pie update soon after the release.
As previously mentioned, the device is set to be released tomorrow, so keep tuned for the full details and specs of this new Nokia premium midrange smartphone.
