It is no longer news that the old Nokia brand is back to life. Since the take-over by Finnish company, HMD Global, Nokia now has a direction. The company releases good phones that can compete in the market and it also releases updates. HMD has previously announced that Nokia 6.1 Plus (Nokia X6 International Edition) and four other mobile phones will get Android 9 Pie update this year. Now, current report shows that Nokia 6.1 Plus’s Android 9 Pie Beta Labs project is over.
Generally speaking, this means that even if there is no iofficial date for the release of Android 9 Pie to this smartphone, users of this device will soon be able to “eat” the Android Pie. With the conclusion of the Beta Labs project for this phone, the only device still on the Beta Lab stage is Nokia 2. This smartphone is still waiting for a stable version of the Android “Oreo” system. HMD also said that Nokia 6 (2018) will skip the Beta Labs phase and upgrade directly to Android 9 Pie.
