Recently when Xiaomi announced its Mi A2 phone in India, they had notified that the new phone will come in 4GB and 6GB RAM + 128 GB storage variants but only the 4GB version of the phone is available for purchase. However, now Xiaomi has made it clear by listing the 6GB RAM variant on its official website and Mi Store app.
The price tag that the new Mi A2 6GB variant will have is of Rs 19,999 and the 4GB one can be grabbed at Rs 14,999. Moreover, the new phone will appear in colours like Black, Blue, Gold and Red. However Rose gold will only come for 4GB variant. Evidently the sale of the Mi A2 is yet to begun and is anticipated to start shortly.
To quickly recap, The Mi A2 has a display of 5.99-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD addressed with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 assisted by Adreno 512 GPU. Coming to its imaging department, the new Mi A2 sports a dual-camera at back with a 12MP as primary and a 20MP as a secondary camera. On top of that, it carries a 20MP front camera.
Xiaomi’s new phone comes preloaded with Android 8.1 Oreo and is backed by a decent 3010mAh battery along with support for Quick Charge 4.0 option. The phone has connectivity options such as USB Type-C port, WiFi 802.11ac, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0 and 4G LTE. Lastly the phone weighs about 168 grams with a dimension of 158.70 x 7.30 x 75.40mm.
