A new report from analysts over at UBS states that the Apple Watch Series 4 will help to catapult the Apple Watch sales. The combined results of Series 1, 3 and 4 will help Apple to achieve the 24 million amount of units sold until the end of 2018. This equates to an average of 6 million per quarter and is significantly higher than the 18 million from the last year.
Moving into 2019, UBS predicts that sales of Apple Watch line will keep improving. According to the analysts, the sales will reach a whopping amount of 33 million for the 12-month period. This will represent an increase of 40% in Apple Watch sales and would result in a 5% increase in Apple’s revenue.
Worth noting that from next year, Apple will be selling units with higher ASPs – The cheaper Apple Watch Series 1 will be dropped from the company’s catalog, and the Apple Watch Series 4 will be sold in a higher price point, due to the new appealing features. We advise you to take these numbers with a pinch or two of salt since until the moment it’s mere speculation. Apple is yet to report the numbers achieved by Apple Watch during this year.
A common consensus among analysts is that the Apple Watch Series 4 has the potential to increase the demand for wearable since it’s proving the most popular yet.
